PRAY FOR RAIN!
Sunday Night Prayer
Time
Please join us each Sunday evening at
6:30 pm as we pray specifically for our Church, our Pastor, our Church Family,
and the East Lake Buchanan Community.
Prayer is one of the highest uses of
the gift of speech. Through prayer we can support our Church ministry to our
community and those that need the Joy that only can come from a personal
relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our prayers must be faithful,
watchful, purposeful and thankful. God knows your needs and the needs of those
around you, but we must be specific in our requests.
It has been said that the purpose of
prayer is not to get man’s will done in heaven, but to get God’s will done on
earth. Prayer is not telling God what to do or what to give. Prayer is asking
God for that which He wants to do and give, according to His will (John
5:14-15).
Archbishop Richard Trench of Dublin said , “Prayer is not overcoming God’s reluctance; it
is laying hold of His willingness”.
So, you are invited to join us Sunday
night @ 6:30 pm.
