Greetings Friends & Neighbors,
Happy New Year!
Well 2012 is here and most folks are making plans for
different activities, trips, family times and who knows what else. Looking forward to new happenings is always
better than looking back to something that has come and gone and cannot be
retrieved and needs to be left in 2011.
So, as we look to a great 2012, we do need to be thankful
for God’s blessing in 2011 and what He has in store in 2012. In today’s world where religion and even God
are being called into question for instance: does God really exist? or
religious people are seen as weak as they have to have something to lean on, we
need to live our lives as a reflection of God at work in us. One thing I can say for myself, it is harder
doing the things God gives me to do, than living as I so please, where anything
is okay.
So for you and me, as we choose what we want for ourselves
and our family, we must humble ourselves and seek God’s will and direction and then
go and do it for the Lord.
